Immigration, like the creation of a new home, can be an intensely optimistic undertaking, with the belief that our lives will be better than they were before.

 

In our project Lumiere we combine the restoration of an intrinsically French interior with a luminosity and material treatment more aligned with that from one of the client’s home countries.

 

The resulting space, taking the best elements from the multiplicity of the couple’s pasts, also begins to write the uniquely new future that they seek.
