Interior design of a country home. In the project Voyage for a family with its past in Asia settling down in the US, we designed a home for four that could accommodate our clients' love of entertaining and even housing extended family and friends for long periods.

 

In this large sprawling home we allowed ourselves to switch gears somewhat from our design of more compact Parisian homes where space optimisation is often the initial motivation for the remodel.

 

Here, we could focus more on creating a new identity for the home that would reflect that of its new owners. With varied pasts separately and as a family, we wanted to create spaces which would honour their cultures and come together in a space as unique and timeless as their own past and future experiences.
